I then went on of my interviews. I started my interview process with special needs preschool. I interviewed Ramona Stills Johnson from the ACLD Krammer Learning Center in Bay Shore NY. She is married to her husband whose name is John Johnson, and has two children, a son whose name is also named John, and a daughter whose name is Jasmine. They reside in Smithtown, Long Island. Mrs. Stills/Johnson's exact job title is an evaluating social worker at ACLD Krammer Learning Center. She then told me that she is a social worker with her CSW, which is that she is a Certified Social Worker. Mrs. Stills/Johnson attended Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs N.Y., and then she attended graduate school at Albany State. We then discussed where Mrs. Stills/Johnson did her internship. She started out at Project Stride which was an after school program for 7-13 year old boys, and then she went to Martin Luther King Elementary School in Schnectady, N.Y. At ACLD Krammer Learning Center Mrs. Stills/Johnson's responsibilities are to first evaluate children for their services, she also is a play therapist in which she interacts and plays with the children. She is also a family councilor in which she helps children and their families with certain problems that they may have, and lastly she is also an advocate for the children that come to her for assistance. Mrs. Stills/Johnson interacts with the students by getting down on their level and plays with them. At ACLD Krammer Learning Center where Mrs. Stills/Johnson works, there are many services offered to the children. The types of services and counseling offered are in Special Education, Psychological Services, Parent Training, Play Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Family Counseling, Orthopedic Services, and Audio logical Therapy.
