The other field that I would like to explore is computer programming. I am good at programming and I have already taken 3 courses through the high school based on the C++ computer language. In addition I have taught myself several other languages. I find myself writing computer programs for fun and have even helped debug code for Counter-Strike, one of the most popular games out right now. Part of the fun of being a programmer is play testing the games that I create. I have already been part of beta testing. Beta testing involves going though the game, before it is released, in its entirety and reporting any errors that you find. Many times you are responsible for solving the problems yourself in order to get credit for testing. Along with programming comes modeling character skin environments and making maps. To program you must have a great knowledge of mathematics and for mapping and modeling you need to know trigonometry very well including the x-axis, y-axis, and z-axis.

What I Want to Know.
I would like to know how much money professionals in each of the different fields make when they get out of college and what their job responsibilities include. I also want to know what kind of course work each degree requires. I don't want to base my future only on how much money I will make after college so I want to find out which field interests me the most and what I would most likely have the most fun doing after college. Programming is fun but would I have more fun being an IT Professional mocking people with their limited knowledge of computers? I can use a forum to talk with several people in each field. Using these forums I can ask them what they do, what their salary is, and whether they enjoy getting up in the morning and going to work. I also really want to know whether a large percentage of programmers are able to work at home and only need to spend a couple days a week at the office.
