Marriage is a companionship and the sufferings that the couples face makes them deeper, wiser, better, and stronger (Reference 9 pg. 128). It is considered that marriage either grows or declines dependent on how the couple treats each other and their marriage (Reference 11 pg. 56). When a ceremony happens to celebrate two people getting married, the ceremony is letting the couple proclaim to people around them that they have started a new union together (Reference 11 pg. 55). That is making it known that they are in love and do not wish to have any one come between them. A common mistake for Christians to do is to defend a cultural version of marriage because they believe it is the same as the biblical ideal of marriage (Reference 11 pg. 87). It is not the same in the way that culture does not influence the Bible; it is more likely the other way around. .
