People who are getting married have love for their significant other, but to make a marriage actually work they need to take a part in their roles work at the relationship. .

They need to be able to mutually understand and respect one another (Reference 5 pg. 1). When two people get married, they should be bet friends (Reference 9 pg. 27). Best friends tell each other everything and are always there for the other. That is how a married couple should be too. When two people are getting married, they do not realize it, but they end up bringing recollections and experiences from the families from growing up (Reference 11 pg. 55). The unity should nourish and cherish the other as they do for themselves (Reference 12 pg. 38). The husband and wife are distinct human beings who have different but possibly similar personalities, beliefs, feelings, and desires (Reference 12 pg. 86). A husband, just as the wife does, plays many roles and key parts in keeping a good marriage. The husband is to love their wife as they love themselves (Reference 2). They are also supposed to respect them and be considerate towards them (Reference 2).
