A lot of people may wonder just what ecstasy is MDMA, (Methylendedioxymethamphetamine) which is its scientific name, has a stimulant and hallucinogenic properties. MDMA was first used to help therapists with their patients. It made them see what it was like to be happy, and then they were supposed to try and act that way on their own when they took the drug away. In most ways it was a hallucinogen (Ecstasy Addiction). .
There are three major forms that ecstasy can come in. The most known one is of course, the pill. A tiny pill you can swallow and have it start acting up in about a half an hour. Another one that is known is to mush up the pill until it is a powdery substance and inhale it through your nose. The third known way to take ecstasy or almost any other drug is to inject it with a syringe. The way they do this is they take the pill and mush it up, like when you inhale it. After that they heat it up and wait for it to become a liquid.
