             Ten percent of young adults from the ages of about 15-29 have tried ecstasy, and estimated guess of about half a million people. But when at raves the numbers jump up to around ninety percent (Cole et. Al. Vol. 15 No. 9). Clubs can shut down completely if they think there is any chance that ecstasy is being sold in their club.              In Utah not a single pill was found in 1999. But now more then 40 tablets were taken in 2000 and by the end of 2001 there was more then 5,000 pills within the states borders (Santini, Jacob and Troy Goodman).
             The cost of pills can range from anywhere between $20-$40. Sometimes the prices even reach $100 and that is just for one pill alone! Even though the dealers can get this drug for as little as .50 cents.
