In the perspective of the market capitalization, Apple is among the world's biggest technology companies. To affirm that point, Banton (2011) noted that it has been reported that the organization at one time had more money than the US government. Currently, the company employs over 60,000 individuals and over 2,500 temporary employees in various counties (Apple, 2013). .
             On the other hand, the organization has over the years been heavily accused of conducting its business in the right manner. In particular, human right activists have time and again accused Apple of harassing its contractors as well as having negative impacts top the environment. In addition, the organization has also been accused of encouraging modern day slavery since most of the employees in China where most of the company's products are manufactured are said to be working poor working environments that are not safe and are also paid very low wages (Tsukuyama, 2012 and Duell, 2012). .

             Since its inception in 1976, Apple has aimed at positioning itself as an innovative organization that can manufacture and market innovative products that will capture consumers' imagination. Nevertheless, the organization experienced mixed fortunes in the past since, it at times performed well and other times performed bad. At one point, the organization parted ways with its legendary leader Steve Jobs claiming that his launching of expensive untested products in the market was not good for the organization. However, the person who had replaced Steve Jobs was later on after few years fired due to the fact that the company's fortunes had declined. Surprisingly, the organization hired Steve Jobs back a decision that has been described as the best decisions ever taken by Apple's board members since it is during Steve Jobs second tenure as the Chief Executive of Apple that the company witnessed unprecedented success.
