The studies discussed are included as evidence of the implications of Early Childhood Education as well as the inconsistent access to Early Childhood Educational Programs based on familial income levels.
The data collected can be found within three major sections of the report: .
1. Review of Current NGCC current demographics.
2. Positive Effects of Early Childhood Education.
3. Areas to Expand NGCC.
In addition, the report includes analysis of data collected and recommendations for the staff of Next Generation Children's Centers which can be found in the Conclusions section of the report.
Of course, it is important to remember that not all studies looked at support the entire scope of benefits outlined in the report. In addition, some of the studies are limited in determining causal outcomes due to other variables, particularly home environment factors between high income households and low income households. Other variables interfere with isolating causal relationships between early education participants and achievements in adulthood, as many events have played a role in shaping an individual's life events.
*Please note the following;.
Throughout the report, Next Generation Children's Centers will be referred to by the acronym, NGCC. .
For the purpose of this report, Early Childhood Education refers to any and all programs designed to assist children from infancy through age 5 in cognitive, social and emotional developments.
