Truman Show


He was being watched. Truman comes up with the idea to sneak away from the camera eyes and face his fear of the water to sail to Feegi. This disappearance of Truman leaves the cast in a panic. When they find him he is a sail and heading for the end of the world as he knows it. After surviving a life threatening storm his boat crashes into a new reality, the wall of a superficial world in which he was raised. He then finds a door leading to the outside world but before entering it he hears the words of his god. The creator of the Truman Show tells him what he is about to leave behind, and what he may be about to enter. Truman very confused makes his choice to venture into the unknown. His decision touches on humans" basic instinct of curiosity. .
             Louis The 19th, King of The Airwaves differs from the Truman story because Louis already had a distinguished lifestyle and the T.V. show was introduced to it. Louis who leads somewhat of a boring life finds himself in front of a T.V. crew that is asking him, if he could be on T.V. live, for twenty-four hours a day. He accepts the offer and the mayhem starts. .
             First he realizes the morning of the first day how degrading this experience is about to be, due to no privacy what so ever. He tries to pursue his normal life. Before long he realizes how dull and boring his life may be. The T.V. crew who is seeking only for good reviews realizes that they should introduce him to the love of his life in hopes to receive better ratings. It works and the love story begins and the ratings fly sky high, although all three movies have some kind of a love story twist to them, this movie is the only movie where the love is implanted or staged.
             By the time the love story begins Louis" life on T.V. is heavily influenced by the power of advertising. Louis receives many gifts from companies in hopes to get their companies name on public T.V. Louis whether he liked it or not was slowly becoming a celebrity.
