Heaven

It is a logical explanation of the word. However, philosophers have pulled hair and gritted teeth trying to prove that heaven exists. One who believes in a god who is the absolute creator of heaven and earth, out of nothing, by an act of free will it a creationist. Here, creationism means the taking of the Bible, particularly the early chapters of Genesis, as literally true guides to the history of the universe and to the history of life. Immanuel Kant studied the orgin of the universe exstensively. " Kant believed that star birth is easier to determine than the creation of life". However, "Kant speaks of God as possible maker of multiple universes, as engineer of dimensions". [1] Dante in his work wrote, "Ineffable providence has thus set before us two goals to aim at: i.e. happiness in this life, which consists in the exercise of our own powers and is figured in the earthly paradise; and happiness in the eternal life, which consists in the enjoyment of the vision of God (to which our own powers cannot raise us except with the help of God's light) and which is signified by the heavenly paradise". [2] As one attempts to study the semantics of the word heaven and its meaning in language, it may be plausible to see heaven in the form of art.
In art, perceptions and emotions vary as well as its intentional or unintentional meaning. The first image I have selected is symbolic of the creation of the "heavens and the earth". This beautiful image shows life of sea creatures, plant life as well as a planetary system. It demonstrates the two very essential components for life to exist: the sun and water. But what makes this image synbolic of heaven. Heaven may very well be a place on earth. In Genesis, God created the heavens, meaning more than one, and the earth. My contentions are that earth one day may be heaven. My other image is a picture taken by NASA with the Hubble telescope in a galaxy 650- light years away.
