Erin And Gwen

On her way back to the cockpit she could feel slight turbulence below her feet that interrupted her day dreaming of all the parties from her past. "Probably the wind- she thought, as she sat back in her seat she handed Erin the beer. .
"Thanks." Said Erin with a grin. "The winds really starting to kick up huh?" .
Erin always had a problem getting her sayings right. She had always been like that and it was nothing to change. She used to always say, "Now don't play with the racing card!" when our circle of friends would make fun of her for her "All-American" blonde-hair-blue-eyed look. Never to this day had Gwen ever understood what the hell she meant by it but whatever it meant it was still hilarious to her. Erin and Gwen reminisced on days past to surpass the time. They laughed themselves into a peaceful silence and left each other to their minds and imaginations to think and reflect on the adventures that they have had. Feeling the turbulence tremble delicately around her, Gwen could hear the wind racing and howling around the giant cargo jet they were flying. She closed her eyes and envisioned herself free falling into the ocean, and that the wind she was hearing, in all actuality, was wind blowing across her ears and through her hair. She felt herself fall further and further away until she heard an emergency siren start wailing. "Not good- she thought. Her eyes opened widely with surprise as she awoke with a startle. Erin was working frantically with the controls. .
"Get on the radio!" Erin demanded. .
"What's going on?" Gwen asked with sleep still in her voice. .
"I don't know, there has been lots of turbulence, but I don't think turbulence will make the controls freak out like that." Erin said with her mind occupied and concentrating on what could possibly be wrong with her cargo jet. .
"Alright." Gwen said with her voice shaking.
             ----------.
"AwW my head- Erin complained, although inside she was happy that she could even feel pain.
