The Religious And Scientific Aspects Of Creation

In the Bible there is nothing that says how the solar system was made or if there is a solar system, but there is one reference in the Bible that may allude to a solar system. The first words in the Bible say, "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" (Holy Bible). The heavens can be characterized as the solar system. When someone refers to the heavens, they would think that the heavens are upward toward the sky, which is also towards outer space. The Bible also tells us later on that God created the stars, which he decided to place in the heavens.
The next thing that was created was the Earth. From earlier you know that the scientific explanation of the Earth's creations says that the Earth is created from a nebula cloud of gas and dust formed together. The Bible tells us that the God just created the earth, but the earth was without form and was void. The sun came in effect when god said, "Let there be light." .
"And God said, let there be a firmament in the midst of waters and let it divide the waters from the waters" (Holy Bible). This is how the water came into being according to the Bible. In some science books one will find out that the Earth cools down later on after it is formed and the water is allowed to settle to form oceans. Algae are formed in the water, and the photosynthesis from this algae cause the earth to have oxygen. This oxygen protects the earth from the harmful ultraviolet rays of the sun. The land drifts apart to begin forming continents as the many years pass. The bible says that the God said let dry land appear after he made the waters. So, the waters were made before the land in the bible, but scientifically, land appeared before there was any water in sight.
The first forms of life, proven both in the bible and in science, are plants. Scientific theory tells us that life begins developing in the form of trees and plants, which produce more oxygen.
