The main problem is that the music industry fail to .
Obviously those major music companies have been trying to come .
up with many solutions that they hope it could somehow head off the threat from .
those free service websites. Two of their solutions are to create two online legally .
services called Musicnet and Pressplay. And the other one is trying to bring the .
copyright issue and fight with Napster in the court, trying to shut down the Napster. .
Apparently the close down Napster was really being against by those 50,000,000users .
and it was such a big disappointment because banning Napster is not the final say on .
the issue.Whether or not Napster survives, the technology is now out there.Napster "s .
gone, other Napster clones will get popular,OpenNap,Freenet,Gnutella, musicity, .
Powernap.etc.They can't fight the technology.Even if people can't download free .
music on the internet at all, there still exists the music file swapping services that let .
users search the computers of other people in the network to find the music they want .
without the central server or company structure to target for copyright infringement.
One of those free downloading service's strength is that they obtain hard to find or out .
of press music and it's free! So,will corporate MP3 sites and legal paid service sites .
like MusicNet and Pressplay offer those rare, limited release track? Some users even .
bring up the point about if Napster 's gonna turn into legal action, how can u make .
sure that the money go directly to the performers and production crews. It's just not .
going to work closing down the Napster. And to create legal paid-for music download .
service,it is still unclear how many people are prepared to pay for music online.
In order to solve this problem, still I think there are quite a few solutions that I .
have in my mind.First of all, the users don't like to pay for music that they think they .
have a right to listen, maybe just to help them decide whether those CDs are worth to .
