The Law of Pure Potentiality is the first spiritual law of success. This law says that we are, in our essential state, pure consciousness. This can also be the Law of Unity because underlying the infinite diversity of life is the way of one all-pervasive spirit. This field is your own Self, so there is no separation between you and this field of energy. Self-referral means that our internal reference point is our own spirit, and not the objects of our own experience. The opposite of this is object-referral. In object-referral, we are influenced by people, situations, and things. We are constantly seeking the approval of others and waiting for their response to our actions. In object-referral, your internal reference point is your ego. The ego is the social mask or the role that you are playing. The difference between self-referral and object-referral is that object-referral is only temporary. It lasts as long as the ego that we are carrying lasts. Self-referral is the true Self and lasts for our entire lifetime. .
I apply the Law of Pure Potentiality to my life by meditation and freedom. I meditate two times a day and after I have the feeling of complete calmness and I feel more aware. I experience freedom as I sit in my backyard and enjoy nature. I watch as the wind peacefully blows leaves around as if it is dancing to its own beat. Watching things like this makes me feel calm and appreciate the activities that don't usually get recognized.
