             Importance of the Study:.
             Cloning humans is a controversial issue. Many reacted against it and the scientists who experimented with human embryos. This brief study attempts to find out how the Filipino students perceived this new discovery and how they reacted to it. Science has make discoveries and developed technologies that are really beneficial to men. Human cloning is a new and promising field, and it is important that we understand more about it, in order to discern how it could affect us. Hence, the importance of the study. .
             Limitations:.
             The foregoing is mainly concerned about whether human cloning should be done or not. For this purpose we conducted a study among students who are in college in different universities in Metro Manila. Hence the findings and conclusions of this research is limited on the perception and attitude/reaction of college students from different universities in Metro Manila employed as respondents in the study.
             Objectives:.
             1. To answer the problems raised in the study.
             2. To learn more about human cloning.
             Definition of Terms:.
             Clone : a group of genetically identical cells descended from a single common ancestor.
             Embryo : an organism in its early stages of development, especially before it has reached a distinctively recognizable form.
             Ethical : in accordance with accepted principles of right and wrong governing the conduct of a group and in this case it refers to the rightness or wrongness of the experiment on human embryos done by Stillman Hall.
             Human Cloning : the process wherein human embryo are allowed to be divided and then separate them and allowed to developed into two embryos with identical genes which could become identical human beings.
             Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) : A nucleic acid that carries the genetic information which determines individual hereditary characteristics, consists of two long chains of nucleotides twisted into a double helix, and is the major constituent of chromosomes; genetic material of all cellular organisms and most viruses.
