The Day America Will Never Forget

            A lot of lives have been forever changed because of the effects of the terrorist attacks on the twin tours on 9/11. Some people were changed for the better and some for the worse. We have seen people act heroically like firefighters, policemen and so on. We have also seen people act cowardly, like for instance the terrorists of 9/11. Even though the terrorist attacks were a horrible tragedy, and no one wishes that it would have happened, I believe it was a wakeup call that most of our country needed to receive.
             Lives were not the only things that were changed after 9/11. Airlines and airports across the country have been dramatically changed. In evidence of this change , exactly one year later from the terrorist attacks, plane tickets will be sold for as cheep as one dollar. The movie was also changed because of the attacks. Several movies have had to be edited or not shown at all because of scenes or anything in reference to the September 11th attacks. .
             People have changed all over the country in many ways. We have seen people wanting to be closer to their families. Many of them have turned to God or a religion of some sort. Americans became very patriotic. We've never seen so many American flags at one time. The patriotism could be clearly seen at an NFL game or any other major sports game. Some of this patriotism has worn off, but for the most part I believe every person has been changed either in their actions or just the way they think differently now. Most people have gotten their priorities together. They"re realizing the more important things in life now. I"m pretty sure that the terrorist leaders were influenced by the devil, but God lets everything happen for a reason and he is always in control. If you look at how the majority of the country has been changed for the better, than you can see how God can make something positive out of something that was so tragic.
