             What should Saturn do as competitors attempt to copy its unique brand image and pricing and dealer service policies?.
             And I bet they (the competitors) will do all what they can trying to push Saturn from the market. They will try to copy, to destroy and to invent something else. .
             An advice for Saturn would be to register all its novelties as unique inventions (copy rights) and keep fighting as they did 24 hours a day, seven days a week and fifty weeks a year. Develop and update their marketing, production and distribution strategies all the time. Be flexible in unstable marketing environment and have a back-up plan. .
             3. Saturn's target market and marketing mix.
             The target market Saturn company chose were " college educated men and women ages 25 to 49-. But directly or indirectly Saturn's promotion campaigns attracted all sorts of buyers. Why? The answer is that because Saturn was friendly, available, affordable and appealing to different groups of people (not only baby-boomers and men and women with college degree between age 25 to 49).

             Product.
             Saturn cars are the product of partnership between United Auto Workers Union and General Motors. All production business decisions at Saturn were reached by consensus. Although Saturn started as a separate subsidiary with an investment of $5 billion it is still continuing to rely on the resources of its parent company. That's why I think that the quality of the product has to do a lot with GM. In current conditions it is almost impossible for Saturn to set up their own production process without General Motors being involved in it. And the fact that GM is cutting off the financing of Saturn is showing on the quality of the product as well as on the sales numbers.
