Since the beginning of mankind, the Garden of Eden has been a legend and wonderful story passed down through generations, and written in great books. Before the Garden of Eden, there was an innocence that was shared between Adam and Eve, plants and animals, and various creatures of all kinds. This innocence has been strived for, ever since, and many people will go to great lengths to achieve it.
Before the time of clothes, money, and politics what was life, and the ways of life, about? They were about living to the best that the people could, enjoying what they had and everything about it, and respecting others without a second guess. These times are long gone. Today, when you walk down the street, you"ll notice that not a single person will take the 2 seconds that it would take to simply say, "hi" to everyone they pass. On the news each night, we see everything that we've once imagined in our worst nightmares, except now it's all real. And why don't they show the good, not that there isn't any, but because the bad sells. The bad is simply why people watch the news, they enjoy seeing how corrupt and violent our society has become. And it's not that everyone thinks the bad things are good, it's that no one will stand up and say what they think is right. Everyone's too concerned with how they"ll look if they do stand up for what they believe in, yet another corruption since the time of purity.
Purity is a form of innocence that is obtained at birth and changed throughout the course of someone's life. Mind wise, we"re all born the same way as Adam and Eve were born, we came into this world with pure thoughts, and pure hearts. Then we went out into the world. From the time that we are infants, until the time that we are teenagers, we learn and grow more than even imaginable. Much like Adam and Eve grew up with the serpent, and learned of it's mystery and deceit, we grew up with television shows, video games, and even our own parents, teaching us secrets and ways of life that we should never have known in order to live that perfect image of what life should be like.
