I selected New York Sports Club (NYSC) near my home in Long Beach. It was the first time that I have been there and my first impression was good, clean, well-designed. I got the impression that I would like to be a member of this club in the near future. I interviewed General Manager of the club, Mrs. Caroline Devine. After waiting about ten minutes, we spent our first meeting talking about their human resources department. .

NYSC in Long Beach is not very big but it is enough to be a local sports club. There are 59 employees in total. Management consists of 3 titles; General Manager, Sales Manager and Group Fitness Manager. Top management of the club is hired by the central management in New York. General Manager hires other staff who will work in the local NYSC. .
The Town Sports International already has 15 job openings with different titles in some local NYSCs on its web-site and provides various links to other web sites from their site.
