It would be easy to understand why an eclipse would be cause to panic. We now know today that it is just a systematical part of our solar system. .
             The Gods were all knowing beings that gave every person in Egyptian society a role. High ruling officials and priests were thought to have some type of connection with the Gods. They would have a special relationship with the powerful beings. This was a reason of the ruler being in the position to rule. It was not based on a matter of marriage or being born into a certain family with a particular birth order. The ruler was appointed by a God. The fashion a ruler dictated over the land was also by the God. If the ruler was fair and just, the Gods were pleased with society and saw no reason to punish the people. If the ruler was nasty and unreasonable, it would be for the reason that the people had done something wrong and deserved the poor treatment. The order was not actually because of the ruler's temperament or disposition; it was a judgment of what was necessary by way of the God's. This was a traditional method of understanding politics that endured over time.
             As all people had there place in society the upper ruling class was devoted to instructing another class, a middle and mostly religious group who oversaw the lower classes. This cycle was essential to the survival of ancient Egypt. The middle class was a religious group, mainly local priests who could use the words of the Gods to motivate and .
             punish workers. These lower class citizens were the farmers, fishermen, artisans, soldiers, and servants. These people were of the lower class because they had been appointed to serve all others around them. Although they were considered to be not important, they were essential for life to continue.
             Individual Research.
             After being briefed on ancient Egypt my curiosity of luxury items began. I wanted to know about fine dresses, perfume, make up, and jewelry.
