However, the exact manner in which an officer may act is unconsciously predisposed in the officer's working personality, which are the character traits of the officer revealed in their work. The officer's working personality is categorized as such: Danger makes them suspicious. Suspiciousness combines with their authority and the power to back their authority with force to isolate them. However, the authority of the officer is directly affected by their focuses on acting accordingly to adventurous, safety, competence, morally, solidarity, or Law and department rules. An officer may also abide to the bureaucratic goals of the local, state, and nation regulations, in which the officer will act in a manner to solely perform their respected duty as an officer in the most efficient and effective way. .
The actions of the officer are a direct reflection of their duty to serve the public. These actions may be a direct attack at the ideals and well-being of the public even if the officer is merely serving their community in the appropriate manner as ascribed by law.
