             By considering the aforementioned paragraph, it is possible to beckon the definition of excessive force as being the result of a calamity that could have been avoided all together. If a clear definition of excessive force were to be maintained, presumably all society would know what kind of ramifications, force, were to be used for certain criminal actions and situations. This would, consequently, alleviate most of the concern over police-community relations resulting in conflict since each member could then expect exact reactions to exact situations. But it must be reiterated that criminal situations are not exact, so it is the case that having an indiscrete definition of officer actions" and behaviors" is impossible being that the officer will have to negotiate to themselves how to control very distinct circumstances for their safety and the safety of other. .
             So it up to the responding officer how to decide and apply force, and in what manner of force that may be. However, the exact manner in which an officer may act is unconsciously predisposed in the officer's working personality, which are the character traits of the officer revealed in their work. The officer's working personality is categorized as such: Danger makes them suspicious. Suspiciousness combines with their authority and the power to back their authority with force to isolate them. However, the authority of the officer is directly affected by their focuses on acting accordingly to adventurous, safety, competence, morally, solidarity, or Law and department rules. An officer may also abide to the bureaucratic goals of the local, state, and nation regulations, in which the officer will act in a manner to solely perform their respected duty as an officer in the most efficient and effective way. .
             The actions of the officer are a direct reflection of their duty to serve the public. These actions may be a direct attack at the ideals and well-being of the public even if the officer is merely serving their community in the appropriate manner as ascribed by law.
