Leadership Development Plan

I had to be determined to get what I wanted. I had to learn how to persuade people in order to get my way. My strengths were a normal trait that I had. I can say these strengths is a ability that I have practice for so long that it's a big part of me. My weaknesses on the other hand deal with psychological areas that are being taken care now that I am an adult. The problems that occurred from my childhood play a big part that makes these weaknesses occur. But with the initiative that I have already taken with going to see a psychologist and working toward my goals in life I know I can succeed to be someone.
             Leadership Requirements For Retail at Target.
             Leadership requirements for Target are different then most retail stores. First you have to have a college education in order to be an Executive Team Leader. (Target doesn't have managers they have Team Leaders). The only way to work at Target as an Executive Team Leader without a higher education is if you already have prior retail management experience. Target looks for unique individuals who have some type of leadership training already like supervisor background or any type of leadership roles that would make a person stand out of a crowd. If Target wants a person then the next step is Executive-Training, which is an 8-12 week process of in class training, leadership training, and technical training to be an Executive Team Lead for Target. After that then the training is done and Target will place a person in a store to be an Executive Team Leader.
             Leadership Goals and Objectives .
             a. My goal in life is just to be a success in life. I never had much growing up as a child in a single parent home. All I really want is to have a very comfortable life style after college and have a steady job with Target. Then eventually be able to get married have some children and then later on in life see the world. My objective with life is to be able to live it everyday as much as possible as long as I"m here because I only have one life to live.
