The theme of Power of frames made me understand that if I want to be an efficient leader, I will have to be more flexible and be able to communicate with subordinates. I also agree with the use of teamwork as a tool to develop tasks. I realized that my previous vision of leadership may create a rivalry between the employees, in the case of my company, sale representatives. Being my vision of leadership expanded, I can understand now that is better to create communication between the subordinates, and enhance the fact that working in group is healthy for the organization and to achieve its objectives. .
The vision that caught my attention is the human resource frame. It may be because I have not apply it in practice. I agree with the fact that the organization objectives need to be linked with the human needs. Also, now I believe that as a leader if I am able to create good relationships and enhance the communication making the staff a team, I will improve the processes, hence, better outcomes could be achieved. I experienced theft of merchandise and constant complains by employees. The theory of the human resource explains that the person will revel in different ways when they have to perform a daily job under strict an inflexible control. I do believe that the person as a human being does not have the initiative to damage the organization; but if they find themselves trapped in a stressful environment, they will look for a way to show their disconformities. I learned that this is not an easy task, as a leader, I will have to be more flexible and creative; also is mandatory to be ready to identify the different properties and unexpected situations that could come up during the process of management; organizations of the new millennium involve multiple surprising processes and complex situations, they require wide vision and willingness from the leader to solve the problems. As a leader, I will be looking forward to get the subordinates motivated, and get them compromised with the organization goals at the same time that they achieve personal satisfaction.
