Sleep is another area that I need to improve. I am rarely in bed before 11:00 p.m. This would not be a problem if I only did this on the weekend but this is everyday. I started a fight with my body that I may loose. Take last week as an example; I was on the go and away from home every night, but I was not at a club or anything like that. I played basketball all day Sunday, worked over 40 hours, played two league basketball games and attended class. This may not sound like much but I am totally drained.
My plan for increasing my physical health will include the following things: .
1) I will try to go to bed during the week no later than 10:30 p.m.
2) I will not drink as much alcohol when I go out with my friends.
3) I will continue looking for ways to gain weight; I still want to way 175-180 pounds before my next birthday (I am still 20 pounds short). .
4) I will continue to lift weights 3-4 times per week. .
5) I will try to eat a more balanced diet every day. As of today, Sunday is the only day that I actually eat balanced meal.
My physical plan will also include a lot more, but the five items listed above will require the most attention. Although my plan is focused on mastering my weaknesses, my strengths can not be overlooked. I will still participate in some type of physical activity no less than three times per week. I will also continue my stretching exercises. My physical plan will require a lot of determination, discipline and mental strength. .
What is the first thing that comes to mind when someone says "psychological, mental or emotional"? I think of a straight jacket, a padded room or someone crying. Psychological health has also been called emotional health but they are exactly alike. Outside of my mother, no one has ever asked me if I felt mentally stable. She would occasionally joke around with me and ask if I felt crazy. Unfortunately we could all wind up crazy, mentally ill or extremely emotional if we do not take care of our minds.
