Are there aliens in the kitchen cooking breakfast after waking up in the morning? Or perhaps playing with the dog in the backyard? With the facts from the movie K-PAX and research on the Universe, it is obvious that there is no life out there other than our own.
In the movie K-PAX, a man by the name of Prot claims to be from a planet called K-PAX, which he claims is in the constellation Lira. He was under the care of doctors in a mental hospital. He was crazy and kept telling the other patients that he was going to take one of them with him on his way back. At no point in the movie did he actually travel at the speed of light. He says he did, but he was just standing there and went nowhere. Throughout the movie Prot did not have any proof that he was from planet K-PAX. Prot was crazy and believed that he was from a planet that didn't even exist.
Our Universe consists of nine planets: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. There are no other planets out there, just stars, quasars, nebulas and so on. The only way for life to support its self out there is if it had enough water, nitrogen and carbon dioxide in its atmosphere. How could life forms survive with two suns rotating around a planet, also with the suns so close to the planet? The life forms would burn up because of the extreme temperatures. Scientists also have no physical proof that there is other life out there in the Universe.
At one point in the movie Prot drew the rotation of his planet around his two suns. The drawing was very accurate and no one else knew about that rotation besides four astronomers. People may be thinking now that the only was Prot could know that is if he was indeed from the new planet K-PAX, but indeed he could be autistic, where he knows a lot about the Universe and handicapped in everything else. He could also be an old astronomer who had a stroke that wiped away his memory, except for that one important fact.
