             The following are activities of the EEOC that address issues relating to employment discrimination: .
            
             • Coordinating all federal equal employment opportunty regulations, practices and policies.
            
             • Interpreting employment discrimination laws.
            
             • Monitoring the federal sector employment discrimination program.
            
             • Providing funding and support to state and local Fair Employment Practices Agencies (FEPAs).
            
             • Sponsoring outreach and technical assistance programs.
             National Origin Discrimination .
             Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 states that it is unlawful for an employer to discriminate against any employee or applicant because of the individual's national origin.
