It's funny how at the age of sixteen I thought I knew what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. I watched The Fast and the Furious, and wanted to be an auto body repair man. I was signed up for a college in Texas and everything. That dream lasted about a year, until I actually worked in a repair shop, then that dream went down the drain. I realized how bad I really hated the job. Had I not watched that movie, the thought would have never crossed my mind. .
Movies have created a different career for me though: actually being in them. I know it seems a little far fetched, because a lot of people want to do the same thing. It's sort of a universal dream, people want to be recognized and instantly start rolling in fortune and fame. I want to be different than these people. I want to give it a shot and hopefully, I"ll land a job in this field.
After I get out of Jefferson College I want to work for a year or two, and eventually move out to California. I have relatives out there, so it won't be too hard to find a small place to live. The only problem with moving to California is that, the price of living is very high, so maybe I can get a job at a nice restaurant, as a waiter, and make good money from tips. That probably won't be enough, though. I will need to work a couple little odd jobs, to be able to pay for my place and my schooling. Finding a way to pay for everything will definitely be one of the hardest things, but it is something that I know I can accomplish.
Deciding which school to go to is my next big decision. I haven't really narrowed one down yet, but I have a couple in mind. I"m going to need to do well, and be attentive in classes, because the better I do, the better the chances are of me getting my name out there.
Getting companies to know my name is going to be the hardest part. That will take a lot more time and money, but I am willing to do it. I know I am going to have to start out small, but you have to be realistic about things.
