             I know that teenagers know the difference between right and wrong and have the maturity to make competent decisions, but if there is no backup to provide them with the support they need, then they are free to do as they please. I have had some time to interview a few adults from the high school that I attend. I interviewed Ms. Parmley our school secretary first. She is 57-years-old and has been working with kids her entire life. The first question I asked her was, "What is out School District doing to prevent crime from happenings on out schools?" "We have the zero tolerance on weapons policy, and if anyone gets caught with a weapon, that usually results in immediate expulsion, and having the police involved," she replied. I also asked her to give me her personal opinion of whether kids should be tried as adults or not. What she said was, "That each situation is different, and it depends on the crime." She also stated that, "U.S. got carried away, we are so afraid of taking our rights away that things are out of control." Asked if she could add anything else to her interview she stated that, "Violence on TV and the music youngsters listen to these days is mortifying.
