             Australia needs to develop a pipeline for innovation, a way to turn ideas into commercial success.
             Right now there are too many ideas that are trickling away before they can be transformed into products and service that offer real economic and social benefit, instead they are going overseas.

             Combination of skills, knowledge and experience; management level of understanding of science and its commericialisation; networks of, and links to, science entrepreneurs; scientist prepare to take ideas through from CONCEPT to REALISATION.
             Achieving a smatter flow of ideas from conception to commericialisation is a key issue for Australia this yea, and into the future. Private and public sectors need to develop ways to work together more effectively. .
