Consequences And Repercussions

Bush seems like the main topic on everyone's lips as of lately. Almost every American young and old has an opinion on him. Yet, sadly he gives the impression of ridicule for jumping to conclusions about the Iraqi leader, Saddam, rumored to be a threat to the United States. The media has created excessive amounts of controversy in the people's minds, making them doubt Bush's credibility as president. .
Numerous citizens all over America have protested against President Bush's intent for attacking Iraq. Evidently, some sources led the Americans to think that George Bush is only trying to get the oil in that country. They deem that he merely went to war with Iraq to conclude what his father started in Desert Storm. George Bush wishes to finish his dad's job and over take the Iraqi government to gain a share of the oil. Specifically, one of the opening speeches Bush gave before the war excited the Americans and made them assume war was the superlative way. Countless people currently believe that he went to combat for immoral reasons. They now regret the resolution to back him up. Still, many of the voters currently wish that they had elected someone else.
Consequently, America has suffered a great loss to the economy. To illustrate, roughly every day in the newspapers, there is an editorial about the national debt and how the balance just keeps growing larger. Mr. Bush determined to go ahead and proceed into the war even though America was previously in such an immense liability. Sending that type of manpower and all the weaponry across the seas cost a great deal of money accumulating to the national debt. Therefore, the public has become irritated that he did not attempt to repair the predicament the United States had as an alternative of handling someone else's problem first. Many citizens living out on the streets will never receive help because of the debt situation. Not even the Red Cross can help these individuals because they are busy overseas assisting the Iraqi nation.
