The new species in Northern California Gecko Spartanikus is a very unique gecko it is able to avoid being seen by predators, and its prey, because of its mutations. Gecko Spartanikus is able to live through severe weather hot, hot summers and fairly cold winters, also because of its other mutation. So the Nor Cal gecko lives in trees along the river, and has recently ventured out into other areas. Now you can find this gecko all over the north state, if you can see them. The gecko is able to live almost anywhere in the north state because of its mutations and it adaptations. It eats only small soft bodied insects, because of the easy digestion. Occasionally it will eat large insects like a grasshopper, or a praying mantis. Most of the time it sticks so small insects. Usually they will live in or under things mostly hidden but not always because they are hidden by their camouflage ability anyways. They will sometimes nest in a tree, bush, garden, anywhere cool and out of sight for the most part. So the gecko has many predators being so yummy and all. Things like rabbits, birds, snakes sometimes, dogs, cats, little boy who like to catch lizards you know the usual. As of now these are really the only thing that can threaten its survival. But there is the possibility of the climate changing drastically and them not being able to adapt quickly enough. Also another possibility would be a new chemical being released into their environment and them not being able to resist it with its tough scaly dry skin and it getting in and killing them. In other words Gecko Spartanikus is going to be here for a while .
