First Car

One of the first cars completed in the early days of June on 1896, was the horseless carriage also known as the quadricycle. This sort of vehicle was high, black polished, also slab sided, with a small covered balcony projecting from the front to hold both persons inside. This car was probably the best car at that time, because it could hold three gallons of fuel, which was cheap to get. Although it needed some steering improvements, and good metalwork to strengthen its frame. Every time Henry Ford had to fix a problem, he always had a new idea. After he was able to fix all the problems, he was ready to venture out eight miles to Dearborn. This car caught the eye of the Prince of Wales; he said that he had ordered a similar car. In traditional forms, the king said, that this car was for the elite. Henry's Ford machine had a top speed of twenty-five miles per hour over the past years. The only reason this car had this kind of speed was because of its weight, it nearly weighted more than 500 pounds.
After a few years went by Henry Ford came out with the most famous car ever made the "Model T". The first circulation of the "Model T" was on March 19, 1908, many workers could not believe the construction of the model. The body itself was lifted off the ground and the design gave it a form of toughness. The engine had a four cylinder, vertically mounted that had a maximum of 20 horsepower. It had a tank, which was able to hold up to 17 gallons of fuel, which made it reliable to anyone. The car had a transmission, a primitive sort of automatic gear that would only work by three-foot pedals. When it was out on the market, orders flooded in by the minute. By the end of September 10,000 cars had been sold, that rounded out to be $9 million, a 60% increase over the years. There were other cheaper cars out on the market but none was better than Henrys Ford cars. All the working to the car made it resistant to rain, dust, and rust, which were major problems back then.
