             In the study involving the housewives half find housework repetitive and the other half was fulfilled with the everyday chores. The difference between drudgery and pleasure is their attitude. Women who find the work repetitive may have a bad attitude toward the work because they would rather be doing other work. Those who enjoy their work feel self-motivated to do these chores. They probably have a good attitude toward the work that they are doing. Lewis Jenkle could learn that not everyone is happy in his or her career choice. The career of being a housewife may be monotonous to some, and not to others. If Lewis enjoys doing the same thing all day everyday he would probably agree with it being "erotic". Although Lewis likes to be told exactly what to do, he may be more eager to work with the teams on different projects after realizing the drudgery of the past. "Often it's simply our human instincts that tell us that change is something to be negatively viewed; there is a feeling of security in what is already known" (Rambo).
             I anticipate in the next five to ten years many changes in the world, and this will definitely effect human resources within an organization. Dealing with more complaints from people about having to do business with machines rather than humans. Voice-jail systems are becoming more and more popular. People feel the need to interact with other people for their personal needs. I feel people's resistance to these automated systems will have a direct impact on my career. Hopefully these situations will call for the need to hire and train new employees. Employees could also be the problem. Employees might be resistant to new procedures in health care and benefit use. They would then put great pressure on the human resource department within their organization. Yes, I do feel like I will have to make an attitude adjustment when the time comes.
