Divorce

            It happens every day all over the world the people of all-ethnic groups and nationalities. It is the ever-present thought of divorce that haunts the minds of millions. Some divorces more often then not end up with devastating affects on the children caught in this nasty mess. When the children are younger and parents have a divorce the aftermath of the divorce is even more devastating. When the parents separate the children do not have either a father or mother figure any more to show them how to be a proper lady are how to be a man depending on which parent the children stay with. .
             The movie "Hope Floats" is a good depiction of what a few wrong decisions can do to a solid family. Throughout the movie Birdie (the mother) is trying to cope with the separation of her and her husband Bill who not only wanted the divorce but also slept around with her best friend and told the entire world about it on national television. May I assume many of the parents who get a divorce end up taking up drinking or drug abuse to help deal with the hurt their husband or wife has caused them? It must be absolutely horrible to know your sole mate doesn't love you any more because of someone else or any other reason.
