             The Lightning Speed Stick ad is also targeted toward the male audience, but dos not carry the same message, or images. This ad shows a young, muscular, and attractive African American male. He is dressed in a black shirt and a black cap, wearing only one ring and a watch. His facial expression shows that he is bold and powerful. Like the previous ad, this ad also uses a basic color scheme, showing the guy only in black and white. The purple background is dark and bold, with lightning bolts flashing through it. There is a caption above the guy's head, which reads: "Lightning. Bold. Intense. Electrifying. Serious protection with a serious scent." In the lower right hand corner there is a picture of the deodorant. Underneath the guy's picture, there is another caption that reads: "Inspired by the Power of Nature.".
             The Lightning Speed Stick ad appeals to the male's desire of power. Like the Adidas ad, this ad puts a strong emphasis on being very serious and masculine by not using a bright color scheme. A difference in the ads is that the guy's face is shown, and he seems to be trying to stress that he is "bold", and "powerful", because of the deodorant that he uses. The dark clothing that he wears, and the basic jewelry that he also wears stresses this boldness. The lightning strikes in the background also present the senses of this deodorant being very "intense" and "electrifying". To sum it all up this ad guarantees that Lightning Speed Stick deodorant, you will remain powerful and bold.
             Unlike the other two ads, the Platinum Secret ad features a young lady's picture, which only reveals her from the shoulder and up. She has shoulder length hair, which is simply worn down with a part in the middle. The picture is in black and white, and the girl is not smiling, she looks very serious and confident. She has on a denim top and no makeup. On the right of this girl's portrait there is a caption that states: "You"ll run for class president, but not to class.
