I asked whose party it was, and as soon as soon as she told me, I said no. I knew what kind of party that was. They were known as coke parties. I wasn't into at all it, so I said no. But, a few of my friends ended up attending. I heard it lasted from 10:00 at night until about 8:00 the next morning.
That Saturday night all the girls were planning to have an only senior party. So we called Sarah around 7:00pm and asked her if she wanted to go out with us. Little did we know she had been up the night before doing coke all night. Of course, she said yes, to call her back at 9:30 because she was going to take a nap. We didn't think any thing of it, so we said "alright" and let her go. We got ready and went to our party. About 10:00pm we called her back and her mom answered, saying Sarah and Ben were taking a nap downstairs in her room and she"d have them call us later when they woke up. We went about the night not knowing what was going to happen next.
It was about 12:30am when one of our friends came back to the party. She was crying so hard that we couldn't understand her. We had thought maybe she got into a car accident, or got pulled over. She mumbled something and all we heard was "she's dead, she dead." We asked, who's dead? Then the most horrifying words came out of her mouth, "Sarah is dead, she died from a drug over-dose." I instantly dropped to my knees; all that was going through my head was "this wasn't true she's lying." I called the hospital and asked if a Sarah Tebo had came in. They told me yes, but couldn't relieve any information. So I called her neighbor, there was no answer. At this point I was hysterical. Finally, I got a hold of someone and they told me the same thing Heather did, but they didn't know why or how she died. By this time it was 2:30am, and I tried calling my parents to tell them and have them come get me. It took me over an hour to get a hold of them.
