Date Rape

            
             The presentation that I attended talked about the different kinds of rape. The video that we watched gave a lot of information about the drugs and alcohol that are being used today. The guest speaker gave good examples and told good stories about rape. After the video and talk the group had a conversation about what we thought on the subject and our feedback of the presentation. My opinion on the subject is that both sexes have a problem. There are two kinds of rape to me, date rape, and violence rape. Date rape is both the male and females fault. The male having to drug or force the female to have sex is pathetic. The female knows that there is rape and it could happen to her, yet still gets drunk and dresses provocatively. It is sad that such things happen, now we have to find a way to prevent it or stop it from happening. I think the key will be communication between the two sexes and affirmative action for the women. The public needs to stop the stereotyping and assuming, that is what hurts this society so much.
