We all care about our appearance, health, sex life, family, friends, colleagues, money, and our job. Leading a human life is a full time job to which we devote a lifetime of hard work. We can never get away from our life. It doesn't matter where we are or whom we are with. Our human life is always there. Is this absurd?.
We are all going to die; everything about us will be eventually gone. We study and work to earn money to pay for cell phone bills, name brand clothing, movies, food, and much more. We earn this money not only for ourselves but also for our families. When will all of this end. It is somewhat considered a journey that leads no where. My life to me is more than a journey it is a privilege. To me it is all worth it. I know that I am going to die one day, so I figure, why not make the best of every day that I have left. If we constantly worry about absurdity, our life will pass us by. We only get one chance, so why not make the best of it.
The theory that nothing we do now matters in a million years may be true, but why worry about it. It is something that we have no control over. Some things that happened a million years ago do affect us now, such as the moving of glaciers and other earth movements. Some things we do now will definitely not matter in a million years, like if we had a good day, if we cried, or if we were hungry. We are just a little piece of the world that all have a connection. We all need someone and something for survival. So it all works out. Any of us could be dead any minute. We have no control over the day we die and how we die, with the exception of suicide. Once again our beliefs of God come into the picture. So even though a pastor has some effect on people it doesn't mean anything because they will die too. So then is going to church absurd? No, I believe that it is not. Going to church gives people hope and a sense of security. It makes you want to live a good life and be the best person that you can be.
