What role does religion play in human experience?.

Today, we have variety kinds of religions all over the world. All of the countries have its own religion and cultural characteristics according to it. As we look back the history, religion has affected the human in many ways; rules, traditions, culture patterns, morality etc. Specially, the most powerful, and important role which religion plays is that how it controls the human.
First of all, the religion regulates the public order by offering the rules. Every religion has its own dogma, which requests the believers to follow utterly. For example, as a Christian, I have to follow the Ten Commandments, which forbid the crime, and harm the others. This is more effective than laws, because people believe that it has given from the God and He watches them all the time. So it helps the society to keep its morality, and civilization. In addition, those particular religions, such as Islamism, made their own traditions, and cultural characteristics by its specific religious service, and also by the dogma. So it shows that the religion controls the society systems also with its religious services and events.

Secondly, the religion gives the believers the hope to challenge their own desires. Whenever people got their dearest wishes or got into the trouble, they're trying to solve it by praying. As they believe that God will help them to achieve their desires, it doesn't let them down, and also giving them a lot of confidence to challenge it by themselves. From those some of the special cases, their dearest wishes often come true, because their strong faith which strongly believes that God will help them, let the brain keep making the positive image of it, and stimulates their potential powers from inside of the brain, so that their desires actually going to happens. This fact has been scientifically proven.
