There are many questions in this world that are left unanswered. There is one question that follows me all day and lingers in my mind. Does time really exist? Most people would simply say, "Yes of course it exists." But my opinion is no, time is just a theory and is relative to the world around us. I believe that for something to exist it has to be able to stand-alone. For example if you have a pillow and you take away everything else in the universe, it is still a pillow. But since time is measured only by the rotation of the earth and the solar system, then if you take everything in the universe away time does not exist. There is nothing to measure it with, or to prove that it is progressing. Time is the unit of measurement used to show the rotation of the solar system and the planets in it. It is divided up in year, hours, and seconds. But what is a second? How long is it? And who was given the divine power to answer these questions. Albert Einstein said, "If!.
you could travel at the speed of light then time would stand still." A light-year is the distance that light can travel in one year. It is obvious by this statement that time dose not stand still for light. So why would it stand still for us? I think that time is a theory that we use to organize the things we do. Most people would say that if you could freeze time than everything would stand still. But Einstein said that we would be moving at the speed of light. Who is right? If you were moving at the speed of light I would think that everything would appear to be standing still, because you are moving so fast. But now we"re talking about movement and speed, not time. The question seems to be unanswerable.
