            Technology and Its Effect on Societies.
             Societies are very sensitive to change, and the slightest adjustment could cause a society to collapse. Societies have each created their own standard system to prevent this. Every societies main concern is to positively develop and maintain a balanced social system. Many aspects can affect the way a society develops throughout the years. One of these aspects is technology and the affect it has on society. Technology has always been increase, yet the speed in the increase has been escalating. Technology has a huge impact on society, because it makes us more mobile, provides entertainment, replaces people with machines, and leads to unemployment as well as the increase in poverty.
             Ever since the discovery of fire, and any discoveries before, the term technology has been an aspect of society. Technology is one of the many things that separate our species from the others. Technology has been increasing at a much faster pace this last century. With the constant increase in knowledge, we are able to increase our technology. Also, some societies seem to develop at a faster pace technologically, which causes cultural lag. This is when some aspect of a culture changes less rapidly, or lags behind, it's other aspects (Thomas 509). Although recently technology has become the .
             basis of most societies and if anything were to go wrong with the equipment, the society .
             could crumble. Communication has become much easier as well as transport and much more. This shows how technology has an impact on society and how it makes us more mobile.
             There are many things that have influenced the boost of modern technology. One of these things is the Internet. Before the Internet, technology had been increasing as well, but never as fast as recently. The reason why is that it is very easy to communicate and much easier to create new businesses as well as more technological advances.
