The Quran never mentions that the woman is the devil's gateway or that she is a deceiver by nature. The Quran, also, never mentions that man is God's image; all men and all women are his creatures (ICS). According to the Quran, a woman's role on earth is not limited only to childbirth, she is required to do as many good deeds as any other man is required to do (ICS) .
Christian Role of Women .
With the advent of the feminist movement, the role of women in all parts of society has come under increasing scrutiny. One area of recent controversy is the role of women in the Christian Church. Some churches whose traditions and practices are less rigidly tied to Biblical doctrines have begun placing women in leadership positions such as pastor or teacher. Other churches, which interpret the Bible, have been slow to adopt such changes. Most people interpreting the Bible, agree that man and woman are both equally a reflection of God's image. According to Gal. 3:28, in soul men and women are equal Galatians 3:28 "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus." This verse points out the fact that the spiritual standing of every human being regardless of nationality, class or gender is the same. .
In the role and function of men and women, there are differences. Though the spiritual standing of men and women are the same before God, he has ordained that men assume the leadership role in the church and home and that woman assume the support role (Brown). From the dawn of creation men and women were created for different roles (Brown). Gen 2:18 & 20-24 show that God created Eve from Adam to be his "help meet" (helper or aid). In essence, the role of a wife is to support her husband, to make him successful and the role of the man is leadership.
Role of women in Judaism.
Jewish women report that being a Jewish woman is the greatest gift God has given them.
