It is harder if not impossible for poor people living in bad neighborhoods to reach their goals than it is for an upper-middle class person living in a nice suburb. Being placed into a respectable job is impossible because of the poor system of education in the underprivileged areas. Affirmative action, which is looked at to be a benefit to the poor and minority, is actually a form of discrimination.
