             Power lifting is something that will help you look and feel better. It will also help you perform better in sports. For it to work the best you need to eat good and lift on a regular basis. To start do not be afraid of the amount of weight you are going to lift. Concentrate on what you are doing, such as good position. Then go ahead and lift. Be sure to stretch or warm up before lifting. When lifting several muscles groups but usually the target a specific area. Contract each muscle and use all of them when lifting. This will help avoid injuries. Never do a lift unless you know how to and the muscles that are involved. Before lifting try not to eat sugars they only give you temporary energy. It is better to eat carbohydrates. Your energy will last longer. The best times to lift are around 2:30 and 4:30 p.m. The body has many cycles when your energy is low, don't force yourself to lift. It is best to train at the same time each day. After lifting wait a few minutes before eating anything. It's best to eat a high protein meal at this time. This meal will restore lost energy and will help build muscle. Weather you lift to get stronger, stay in shape, or just because you like it remember to lift the correct way and that you take care of your body with what you eat because you wont get the desired result if you don't help your body achieve it's potential.
