I can relate my thoughts to his quote because of some events that has happened in my life. Like most people, I used to ask the question of meaning of life and always expected things from life. After some deep thinking and talking to other people that were interested in the same question as me, my thoughts gradually changed and I began to stop questioning life, and started answering to life. .
During my sophomore year in high school, my life took a turn and I started to go down a steep hill like on a roller coaster ride. I was a student with high expectations from everyone around me that knew me well. I even had high expectations of myself and I did not mind at all. It never felt like I had to carry a heavy load because I always wanted to be the best. At the start of my second quarter of my sophomore year, my parents opened up a new business. From the day they started their new business, they struggled to keep the business running. So, my brother and I had to get involved and help out our parents. We would go help them everyday after school until the business was done with all the work for that day, which was never earlier than twelve o"clock midnight. When I finally arrived at home, I would be extremely tired, too tired to do any of the schoolwork assigned. So I would just relax for a short time and go to sleep as soon as my eyes shut. Every morning I would wake up in time to go to school, but did not attend classes because I had not done any of my homework. This continued on for a couple of months. My life became a mess and I had to withdraw from school. My parents were incredibly upset and wanted to know what was wrong with me. The funny thing is I wanted to know what was wrong with me too. For the next two or three years, I wanted to know why things in my life went the way that they did, why nothing ever seemed to fall into place. I blamed the events in my life on everything else, except myself.
