Leonardo Da Vinci

Leonardo Da Vinci, was one of the greatest painters and geniuses the world has ever seen. He was one of the key figures of the Renaissance, a great culture movement that had begun in Italy in the 1300's. It was the period of the Renaissance when Leonardo was born on the fifteenth of August of 1452 and probably in the farmland in Anchiano, but probably outside the village of Vinci, near Florence in the central of Italy. The family of Leonardo lived in this area since the thirteenth century. (Da Vinci simply means from Vinci.).
Leonardo's first known and dated work was in.
pen and ink drawing. Drawn on August 5th, 1473.
His portrait " Mona Lisa " ranked among the most famous pictures ever painted. Mona Lisa is shortened form of Madonna Lisa is probably a portrait of the young wife of a rich Florentine. Da Vinci was trained to be a painter, but his interests and achievements spread into an astonishing variety of fields that are now considered scientific specialties. Leonardo had one of the greatest scientific minds of the Italian Renaissance. He wanted to know the working of what he saw in nature, but Da Vinci's importance to art was even greater than his importance to science. Leonardo was not only a Renaissance painter, but also an architect, engineer, mathematician, and philosopher. Da Vinci studied anatomy, astronomy, botany, geology, geometry, and he designed machines and drew plans for hundreds of inventions. However, he had little interest in literature, history, or religion. As you can tell from his painting this was how he expressed himself, all including researchers have known that he loved to paint and that was how he loved to relax. His most admired one by others would most definitely be "Mona Lisa." His work continues to spark people today because of his freshness and realism that he expressed in his many paintings before he died on May 2nd, of 1519.
