As this telecom technology advances there have been certain concerns as it pertains to health issues. For over eight years it has become known to most that there might be a connection between the use of mobile telephones and brain cancer. This issue has heated in the past years so much that lobbyist have been petitioning for these manufactures to put a health warnings in the phones that they sell to customers.
This industry is obviously one that has the potential for extreme growth but it might be one that is very detrimental to people in the long run. I can compare it to the 40's and 50's in America when the factories where booming and architectures and construction workers putting these infrastructures up at a fast pace. They did this with the knowledge of asbestos, but they disregarded the severity of its complications. Know you have people who worked in those factories suffering from major health complications. I see the same thing being a problem here. .
Also, I have a problem with the potential of these brain cancer problems only because; in some under developing countries mobile telephones are the only form of communication. So for example, you have an under developed African nation that are trying to make improvements in the way that they live and do business using these phones.
