These technological advancements shape the citizens since even before birth in order to convert them from individuals to mindless drones in order to control them. .
             The government gains further control of the citizens through the conformity that is implemented on and followed by them. To start off, the inhabitants of this society are not given any sort of mental flexibility. If you spend time alone or think, you are considered to be strange and an outcast, and can be deported to the savage reserve as punishment for your crimes. Furthermore, the Bokanovsky method of reproduction causes great numbers of genetically identical human beings (up to 96 at a time from a single egg alone) to be produced. Everyone is the same: same birth, same upbringing, same lifestyle, and all are limited to barriers set by the government. Last of all, conformity is achieved through sexual promiscuity amongst the whole public. The motto "Everyone belongs to everyone else" encourages promiscuity because promiscuity eliminates emotional tension, making their behaviour far more senile and calm than usual. Such conformity gives the government power over the people because they are unable to think or act for themselves since they were never taught to. .
             Most dominantly, control is gained by the government by eliminating all forms of freedom from the inhabitants. To begin with, each person in this society has a predestined future because they all develop in their fetal stages inside a jar, where they are provided with their needs and are vaccinated against all known diseases. Special treatments are performed to aid in the mental growth (or standstill) of the individual after 'birth', according to their future occupation: .
