             Through the process of Glycolysis our body gets the energy that it needs to function on a daily basis. During this reaction Glycolysis breaks down glucose (carbohydrates) so that our body can convert it into fast energy. There are 2 molecules of ATP used to start the process and when it is finished the reaction yields 4 molecules of ATP. This shows that it takes very little energy to make energy, and it also shows that the reaction is exothermic.
