and the her famous meat rolls. .
Following my simple instructions anybody will be able to impress .
their guests at dinner. First please call the local butcher and ask for 2 pounds of .
Rouladen. The name rouladen means stuffed beef, a tradition from Germany. .
Make sure you order this cut very thin -1/4 of an inch is the maximum thickness. .
Note: if the butcher does not have a clue what is needed, ask him to thinly slice .
top round steak. The ideal size piece is 1/8 thick or thinner. Now proceed to the .
store and purchase the following, one jar of minced garlic, one pound of lean raw .
bacon, one sweet yellow onion, and two large cans of cream of mushroom soup .
and "round" toothpicks. Flat tooth picks, are too weak and break easily and the .
rounds are more hefty, and sharply pointed. The seasonings needed are salt, .
pepper, and Johnny's seasoning. Last, but not least is a bag of enriched flour .
